The U-boat

submrne.jpgBased on what you know, if you had to choose between serving on a destroyer or a submarine, which vessel would you pick during World War I?  Explain your answer.

 

Remember don't leave you full last name.  This entry, if answered completely will earn you 5 extra points on your final WWI test.  I will accept answers through 12/5/08 for the 5 extra points.

I would rather be on the destroyer because it might  have had more space to move around and it can hold up to 100 men.

I would pick a submarine, because ship would not be able to get low enough in the water to attack. It would be better than the u-boat because the sub. might have greater torpedos, if the u-boat is fast it might have weak torpedos.

I would rather stay in a destroyer mainly because if i was in a submarine and i was bombed i couldn't get up to shore but if my voyager was bombed then i possibly couldget to shore

I would rather be on a destroyer because it is bigger, with more people, and it would be easier to be rescued.  The submarines would be an easier target for missles.

I would pick destroyer. It can move fast and I think it is the one that can slice a sub. It would be hard to sink because it rides high.

I would rather be in a submairne,because they can go underwater and hide and bomb the other ship,and they wouldn't know you were under them.While you would be underwater they would be lookimg for you on the surface.
